A year long investigation that spanned to several states has led to the arrest of three men involved in a Lehigh Acres murder.

On November 5, 2015, deputies responded to a shooting near a bowling alley off Homestead Road.  Responding deputies found 21-year-old Rashawn Myers dead inside of a car.

On Friday, detectives met with prosecutors with the State Attorney's Office and formally prepared charges for several individuals involved in the murder.

Deputies arrested Max Herard, 21, and Christopher Perez, 22, for Second Degree Murder with Firearm.

Michael Stanley, 22, was also arrested and charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling.

The investigation is ongoing.
