Deadly crash on State Road 82 in Immokalee near State Road 29

**UPDATE (11AM)** -- Troopers have identified the victim in Monday night's fatal car crash on State Road 82 near Immokalee.

Florida Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Roselane Auguste of Jacksonville was the passenger in a car headed eastbound on S.R. 82 around 9:33 p.m.  That's when the car she was in crossed the center line and stuck a westbound minivan.

Auguste, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, 20-year-old Jimmy Charles of Immokalee, was seriously injured and taken to Lee Memorial for treatment.

The van's driver, 64-year-old Raphael Michel of Lehigh Acres, was critically injured and taken to Lee Memorial.

Charges are pending in the case.

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- Roads are now back open Tuesday morning after a crash near Immokalee killed a person, and seriously hurt two others.

It happened Monday night around 9:30 on State Road 82, just west of the intersection of State Road 29. 

The two people that were injured were trauma alerted to an area hospital.

State Road 82 was shut down for a time as the scene was cleaned up.

The Immokalee Fire Department posted a photo of the scene.
