Fire crews are battling a boat fire at a marina on Fort Myers Beach.
The fire started sometime after 7 a.m. on a boat at the Snook Bight Marina located at 4765 Estero Blvd. on Fort Myers Beach.
A Fort Myers Beach fire spokesperson says fire crews responded and found a fully involved vessel. They quickly knocked down the flames and contained the fire to one boat, but that boat is still smoking and crews are still on the scene. The fire is considered 60 percent contained as of 9 a.m.
It's not clear what type of boat was affected or how the fire started, but marina employees have not heard that anyone was hurt in the fire.
