Tubby's in Cape Coral was Rick Marshall's favorite bar. It was also the last place he was seen alive before he was murdered in February.
"You met him and you liked him, that's it, you were friends. Now he's gone, and that's a big part of our hearts," said Joe Lentini.
Lentini used to drink with Marshall at Tubby's. He said it's a place where Rick knew everyone, and everyone loved him. "He was one of a kind, if you didn't know him, and you came in here and met him, when you left, he was your friend."
Lentini said he wasn't surprised Marshall's son Matthew was charged with killing his father. "I'm just hoping, and please don't tell me he was chopped up."
Lentini is still coming to terms with how a great person could suffer so horribly. "Even though it's more like closure, at least to the family, for us it's a lot of pain."
