MIAMI, Fla.(UPDATE)- According to the U.S. Coast Guard, the search for the two missing boaters has been continued by the FWC.
Carollyn Parrish, a FWC spokesperson, has confirmed a vessel has been found but weather is preventing the search team from identifying the vessel.
MIAMI, Fla.- Coast Guard crews are searching Lake Okeechobee after two boaters were reported missing on Sunday.
John Russ, 72, and Diane Russ, 62, were last seen in an airboat in the lake.
The couple is from Myakka City, Florida.
A friend of the Russ' reported them missing after the couple failed to return from a boating trip. The Coast Guard and FWC are conducting the search.
