UPDATE (1/25) -- Deputies have arrested 22-year-old Patrick Carlopoli for the deaths of three people in an Iona apartment this weekend.

Lee County deputies spent much of Sunday on the scene of a death investigation in South Ft. Myers.
Major crimes detectives responded to the Iona Lakes Apartments at 15000 Iona Lakes Boulevard shortly before 5:00 a.m. Crime scene tape surrounded much of building 39, but the investigation centered around a unit with an American flag draped outside.
"From what we speculated something really bad happened inside of there," said neighbor Tiffany Getze.
Other neighbors tell Fox 4, a man, woman and small child lived in the apartment. Deputies would not confirm if those individuals were among the deceased.
