FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police are asking for help locating the driver of a pickup truck accused of hitting a motorcyclist Sunday night and fleeing the scene.
The truck is described as a white newer model pickup truck with a topper on the bed of the truck. The truck should have fresh damage to the driver’s side as well as a missing driver's side outside mirror.
The pickup truck was last seen headed westbound on Colonial Boulevard towards the Midpoint Bridge or McGregor Boulevard.
**UPDATE (6/21)** -- FMPD announced on Tuesday that the white truck believed to be involved in this crash has been located. No word on any arrests yet.
According to Fort Myers Police, around 11 PM Sunday, that pickup truck was involved in a crash with a motorcyclist on Colonial Boulevard between Deleon Street and Summerlin Boulevard.
The motorcyclist died at the scene, and the truck fled the scene.
