LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A number of complaints from nearby businesses and residents about possible prostitution activity at massage parlors spurred investigators to conduct a operation this week leading to the arrest of eight Lee County women.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, a Massage Parlor Operation was launched Wednesday, led by the Narcotics/Vice Unit.
As a result of this operation, eight women were arrested on charges ranging from solicitation of prostitution to unlicensed massage therapy.

Arrested were:
- 47-year-old Le Yue Rong of "Dong Fang" at 16387 S. Tamiami Trail, charged with Prostitution
- 52-year-old Yanrong Xue of "A Shining Star" at 10911 Bonita Beach Road, charged with Prostitution
- 34-year-old Maria Martinez of "Sports Spa Massage at 4836 Bonita Beach Road, charged with practicing unlicensed massage
- 45-year-old Wang Hong of "Sunshine Girls" at 16205 S. Tamiami Trail, charged with Prostitution
- 48-year-old Jihong Peng of "Star" at 28441 S. Tamiami Trail, charged with Prostitution
- 39-year-old Jia Liu of "East Asian Massage" at 17660 S. Tamiami Trail, charged with Prostitution
- 49-year-old Shangjuan Yang of "Sunset Therapy Spa" at 21740 S. Tamiami Trail, charged with Prostitution
- 48-year-old Qui Mei Wu of "Elite Massage" at 17200 S. Tamiami Trail, charged with Prostitution
