CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Police say a Cape Coral man recorded video of himself intentionally destroying a Donald Trump sign, then posted the video to social media.
The 4'x8' sign, valued at $275, was found destroyed on Sunday. The victim later found that 36-year-old Manuel Retiz of Cape Coral posted a video on his Facebook page that appears to show him intentionally driving off the roadway and over the sign.
Cape Coral Police located Retiz at his home and charged him with Criminal Mischief over $200.
This is the 2nd incident involving Trump signs in Cape Coral in recent days. Other Trump campaign signs have recently been found spray-painted with a swastika.
