NAPLES, Fla. -- Fire crews have been working tirelessly to battle the Lee Williams Road wildfire in Picayune Strand, and would like to thank the public for their assistance and gratitude this week.

The Greater Naples Fire District says the public has gone out of their way to make sure first responders have been fed or ensured they had water and other fluids to drink as they fight the 7,500-acre fire.

But because of their kindness, the firefighters working this fire have an ample supply of donations and they are not accepting any more that this time.

Should a future need arise, they will be sure to let the public know.

But they do appreciate your support.
