UPDATE:
Charlotte County Sheriffs announce the identity of the man found in the Harbor off Bayshore Park as being 55 year old Nicholas Batts.
The investigation is still ongoing and cause of death is pending toxicology results.

Deputies are on the scene of a body found in the water in Charlotte Harbor on Monday.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, the body was found in the water just off Bayshore Park near Main Street.
Marine Patrol units are on the scene.
