The Lee County Sheriff's Office is searching for a male who was dressed as a woman, and four other females accused of stealing close to $700 worth of merchandise from a Victoria's Secret Pink store in Estero.

A store employee told detectives the group of five entered the Pink store at Coconut Point Mall Thursday afternoon.

One of the suspects reportedly distracted a store employee while the others roamed around the store stuffing merchandise into their bags.

According to detectives the group stole mostly leggings and T-Shirt.

“There’s always people that are going to be doing something to get over on somebody else,” said Corey Sloan, who stopped by to eat at the mall.

The group took off in two vehicles; a black Acura and gray Nissan. Detectives say they used something to cover their license plates.
