LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — The Lehigh Acres Fire/Rescue Department responded to a car fire in the parking lot of the RaceTrac on Lee Boulevard and Gunnery Road.
The vehicle was parked in front of the building and not at the gas pump.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office was also on scene for crowd control and traffic control.
Firefighters were observed using the jaws of life to pry open the car's trunk and were spraying down the engine compartment.
A Chief on scene confirmed that nobody was hurt or transported.
The fire is currently under investigation.
