FORT MYERS, Fla. — Multiple fire agencies and the Lee County Sheriff's office respond to a fire at the Morningstar Baptist Church in the Tice area. The Morningstar Baptist Church is located at 5160 Richmond Ave, Fort Myers. The fire completely engulfed the church causing the entire roof to collapse. Lee County Sheriff's office is also on the scene assisting with traffic in the area.
Commuters are being asked to avoid the area and to seek alternate routes.
