North Collier Fire Rescue District crews battled intense flames after a vehicle caught fire on I-75.
Battalion Chiefs 45&40 responded to the vehicle at exit 109 Saturday afternoon.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire safely and effectively by using foam.
As apposed to using water, foam increases firefighter safety, extinguishes flames quickly and emits heat at a faster rate, NCFRD said.
Information on what lead up to the vehicle fire or if anyone was injured has not been released.
