FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Detectives now say they are looking for a suspect responsible for killing two people and injuring a 3rd victim at a Fort Myers home Sunday.

Deputies responded to a home at 240 Maine Avenue early Sunday morning.

"At this time we have three victims in this case, two have expired and one is in the hospital," said Lee County Undersheriff Carmine Marceno. He could not say how the victims were killed.

A man living next to the house tells Fox 4 there were at least 4 people who lived there.  He did not hear anything out of the ordinary.

A woman we spoke with says deputies told her the person who survived hid under her car until help arrived. "I guess there was blood underneath my van, they were wanting to investigate around my van.  We heard nothing, and we have a lot of dogs around here but none of them were barking."

"I can assure you we are very, very confident in this case, that we will have an arrest," said Marceno.

Names of the victims will not be released until next of kin has been notified.

Marceno says the public is not in any danger.
