LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A judge has sentenced 35-year-old Timothy Alexander to 30 years in prison for his role in a party bus rape in 2013.
Alexander, a former firefighter, has also been designated a Sexual Predator in the wake of his conviction last month by a Hendry County jury on two Sexual Battery by Multiple Perpetrators charges.
According to the State Attorney's Office, the victim, who was 16 years old at the time of the crime, took the stand to testify against Alexander.
A case is still pending on a co-defendant in the case, Alexander's cousin.
