CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Numerous emergency vehicles were on the scene of a fatal medical incident involving a utility worker in NW Cape Coral Friday afternoon.
According to Cape Coral Police, numerous fire, EMS and police units were at the corner of NW 8th Terrace and NW 13th Avenue, near Mariner High School. Crime scene units and the Iona McGregor Special Operations unit were also on scene.
The call came in around 12:10 p.m.
Police say the incident involved a manhole.
Extremely distraught family members were seen nearby.
