Police make arrest in SE Cape Coral deadly shooting

CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Cape Coral Police arrested 27-year-old Ryan Doyon Monday afternoon, after allegedly shooting and killing a man at his SE Cape home.

Around 9:30 A.M., police responded to 1914 Cornwallis Parkway after getting reports of shots fired. They found a white male suffering gunshot wounds in front of the house. He was transported to the hospital and later died. 

Police found Doyon at the home and further investigation revealed probable cause for his arrest on second degree murder charges. 

The deceased male has been identified, but his identity will not be released until next-of-kin is  notified.

This investigation is ongoing.
