FORT MYERS, Fla. -- We're working to get more information on an SUV crash and fire and what one witness describes as a daring rescue.
The Fox 4 Breaking News Tracker was the first media on scene of this crash.
It happened just before 2 a.m. Monday on Palm Beach Boulevard near Interstate 75.
A witness tells Fox 4 he saw the crash and called 911. While he was talking with a dispatcher, he says the car burst into flames. So he went and helped the driver get out of the SUV.
Our crew heard a deputy tell the man, he saved a life.
