A 19-year-old woman was arrested for her role in the kidnapping and sexual assault of a teenage girl in Cape Coral.
Cape Coral Police arrested Laila Fouissi on June 2nd. She's facing sex assault, kidnapping and robbery charges.
The arrest report says Fouissi met the victim at the Taco Bell on Hancock Bridge Parkway in Cape Coral. The victim worked there and Fouissi was her manager. The report says the victim was telling Fouissi how her work permit was expiring and she'd be out of a job. Fouissi suggested the victim could make a lot of money dancing at a strip club in Miami. Fouissi told the victim it didn't matter that she was just 17 years old, but she'd have to "meet a guy" first.
The report says the victim spoke to "the guy" -- in his 30s -- on the phone a few times. He told her "she needed to be loyal to him" and he'd "take care of her and give her whatever she needed."
Fouissi came to the victim's home in Cape Coral with a man and told the victim to get in the car to talk. Fouissi drove her to a bridge on Del Prado Boulevard. Cape Coral Police said Fouissi and the man brought the victim under the bridge and ordered her to perform a sex act by grabbing her by the hair and pushing her to the ground.
The three got back in the car and drove around Cape Coral. The victim told the police he said "This is like a movie, we are a mafia, you can bring the police, the FBI, the CIA, and they're not going to stop me, you already did this, now you gotta be down."
The report says they parked the car at another spot. The man went to the trunk of the car, got a gun, and threatened the girl and her family's lives. He made the victim perform another sex act before bringing her home. Once at her house, he and Fouissi demanded $2,000 from the victim. Fearing for her life, she gave him her debit card, pin number, and social security number.
People living in the victim's neighborhood said the family packed up their essentials and moved in the middle of the night to escape the incident.
Fouissi is being held at the Lee County Jail on a $300,000 bond. The names of the others involved in this incident were redacted from the report, so it's unclear if or when they will be charged.
