COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- A vehicle fire is blocking the northbound/westbound lanes of Alligator Alley Wednesday morning.
It's happening in the area of Mile Market 52, near the Collier-Broward county line, approximately halfway between Naples and Fort Lauderdale.
All westbound traffic is stopped as of 9:30 a.m.
UPDATE (9:40 AM) -- Both westbound lanes were re-opened to traffic at 9:40 a.m., but it could take some time for the backup to clear.
