A 60-year-old man was taken to the hospital after his plane crashed in the woods near the Punta Gorda Airport.
The man suffered minor injuries.
The crash happened at 5:40 PM as the man was trying to take off from the airport.
He was the only person in the plane.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of the crash.
