FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A mother pleaded Sunday for anyone with information about who struck and killed her 18-year-old son to come forward.

Adam King was riding his motorcycle late last Sunday on Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers when he was hit by a white pick-up truck and left for dead. Police have since located that truck, but are investigating who was driving it.

Tracy Miller spoke with Fox 4 Saturday, and fought back tears as she talked about the tragedy. "Where's the conscious? You know who you are, who hit him, and killed him, and left him to die," she said.

Tracy and her husband are known by the community for helping other people get closure. Their group, Underwater Historical Explorations, conducts underwater research. On one of their missions, they found wreckage from a plane crash which took the lives of six WWII servicemen. Tracy worked tirelessly to reach out to those families and give them closure.

Now, Tracy's family just wants the same for her. "There are people out there who know things who are withholding things," said Thomas O'Brien, Adam's stepfather. "Search inside yourself. Do the right thing."

Flowers and card from people who love Adam fill their home. Tracey showed picture of her son, as his brother and friends prepared a memorial at the sight of the crash. "Our group of friends..we really miss him," said Adam's friend Richard.

Tracy holds on to hope that whoever is responsible for the crime will be brought to justice. "I know he knows that we're grieving, I know he knows that we're fighting," she said. "And I know he knows that answers will come."

Adam's funeral will be Monday, from 1 to 4 P.M. in Cape Coral.

If you have any information that could help this investigation, call the Fort Myers Police Department or Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS. Tipsters can remain anonymous and if their tip leads to an arrest, could earn a cash reward.
