FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Numerous units responded to a serious crash with a fatality in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Fort Myers Thursday morning.
The crash happened shorty after 7:30 a.m. near mile marker 135. That's just south of the Colonial Boulevard exit.
A passenger car and a semi truck were involved, according to FHP.
FHP says all lanes have reopened at the scene, but as of 10:55 a.m., the Fox 4 Traffic Page shows a long backup in the southbound lanes.
