Truck driver shot after argument with stranger

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- An unknown male is being sought after a verbal altercation turned violent Monday afternoon. 

Authorities say a local tow truck driver pulled into the Old Fashion Auto on Homestead Road in Lehigh and was approached by an agitated unknown Hispanic male. The male thought the driver was blocking the roadway, the confrontation lead to an argument. 

The Hispanic male then pulled out a semi-automatic weapon and shot the tow truck driver once, causing non-fatal injuries. 

The suspect fled eastbound on Homestead Road in a newer model silver Nissan, equipped with chrome rims and a black top. There also was an unknown female in the passenger seat.

UPDATE (5/19) - Authorities have identified 21-year-old Lester Bermudez Lozada as a suspect in this shooting.
