Update 7:07P:

Monday night, the Cape Coral Fire Department confirmed the fire at this commercial building was a 2-alarm fire that required extensive resources to fight. The fire was particularly dangerous due to the combustible material inside the building, including tar and tar paper, and required aggressive fire-fighting tactics and a lot of water.

"A+ Roofing" could be seen printed on the front door of the building.

Firefighters were expected to be on scene for the next several hours to make sure the fire stayed out.

Fox 4 also talked with workers nearby who first reported the fire — they were doing work at a neighboring building.
