CAPE CORAL, Fla. — UPDATE:
Deputies say have confirmed that a body found floating in the Caloosahatchee is that of a deceased, older man.
The investigation remains active.
ORIGINAL REPORTING:
The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death near the Midpoint Bridge.
A body was found in the Caloosahatchee River around 11 a.m.
It's not clear yet how the person died or if foul play is a factor.
