PUNTA GORDA, Fla. — A 40-acre brush fire is burning in the Heritage Landing community of Punta Gorda.
As of 5 p.m. Thursday, the Florida Forest Service confirmed the fire to be 75% contained.
The fire is burning in the area of ShotGun Rd., near Burnt Store Rd.
