CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla — Charlotte County Public Safety is on scene at Broad Ranch Drive where a vehicle crashed into a house.
The home was unoccupied at the time of the incident. The driver, a middle-aged male, sustained serious injuries, according to Charlotte County Public Safety.
The crash caused extensive damage to the house. A technical rescue team is supporting the structure with shores until it can be investigated further.
