CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol Troopers and other emergency agencies responded to the scene of a motor-home fire on southbound I-75 Thursday night.
FHP says an engine fire started just after 7 a.m. and quickly engulfed the motorhome. The driver and a passenger were able to quickly stop the vehicle and escape.
No injuries were reported. Southbound lanes were closed while crews worked to put out the fire.
