CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — Manasota Key sustained heavy damaged when Hurricane Milton swept through Southwest Florida on Wednesday night.
WFTX's Alex Orenczuk reported there were downed power lines and a propane leak.
Visitors and residents currently aren't allowed in the area, but those on barrier islands are allowed to leave.
It wasn't immediately clear when people would be allowed to access Manasota Key again.
