UPDATE 5:59 p.m.:
FHP said a 17-year-old girl from Immokalee was killed in the crash.
According to troopers, a car driven by the teen was going west on Vanderbilt Beach Road and approaching Islandwalk Boulevard.
A Jeep, driven by an 86-year-old man, was stopped facing east on Vanderbilt Beach Road.
FHP said the teen driver went through the intersection and the man was turning left.
The front of his car crashed into the side of the teen's vehicle.
According to FHP, the teen's vehicle flipped over and crashed into a light pole. The 17-year-old died at the scene.
The passenger of the Jeep and two juvenile passengers in the teen's car were sent to the hospital with serious injuries.
Florida Highway Patrol said it's trying to determine the color of the traffic signal. The crash is under investigation.

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash on Vanderbilt Beach Road and Island Walk Boulevard.
There are several first responders at the scene including FHP, Greater Naples Fire and the Collier County Sheriff's Office.
Fox 4 Collier County Community Correspondent Mahmoud Bennett said there's one vehicle flipped over on its top.
