NAPLES, Fla. — The Collier County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday that 21-year-old Israel Catarino Felipe’s initial charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon have been upgraded to attempted second-degree murder.
Authorities believe Catarino Felipe shot a 30-year-old man nine times before running away from the scene back in June.
The victim survived the attack.
