HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. — Hendry County Fire Services and the Collier County Fire District are on the scene of a fire in the area of County Road 86 and Thorpe Road just east of the Hendry/Collier County Line into Hendry.
Collier Firefighters and the Hendry and Division of Forestry responded.
At the time of this report, it was estimated at approximately 60-70 acres and moving quickly.
Fire officials have closed County Road 846 in the area of Thorpe Road.
It is currently unsure how long the road will remain closed.
Please seek another route, if possible.
