HARDEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Wauchula man is the lucky winner of the top prize in a $1 million Florida Lottery sctratch-off game.
According to the Florida Lottery, 42-year-old Salvador DeLoera bought his "Florida 20X The Cash" scratch-off ticket at the Cardena Tienda Mexicana 2 in Wauchula.
He elected to receive a lump-sum payment of $770,000.00 in lieu of the yearly payouts.
The conveniee store that sold the ticket will receive a $2,000 bonus.
