$6 million winning Lotto ticket sold in Fort Myers

LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Fort Myers woman was the sole winner of the August 25th Lotto drawing and has come forward to collect her winnings.

According to Florida Lottery, 67-year-old Joyce Joyner purchased the winning ticket at the Publix on Daniels Parkway at 6 Mile Cypress Parkway.

Joyner elected to receive the lump sum payment of $4,025,567.08.

The store where she bought the ticket gets a $45,000 commission.

Florida Lotto drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday nights at 11:15pm.
