COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- A Naples man turned $20 into a million-dollar payoff by purchasing a lucky Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket in Golden Gate Estates.

According to the Florida Lottery, 62-year-old Jeffrey Brown bought a $20 Monopoly Jackpot ticket at the Circle K on Pine Ridge Road at Collier Boulevard.

That ticket turned out to be a $1 million winner. Brown has chosen to accept the one-time lump sum payout of $715,000.

Just last week, a Sarasota man also won $1 million in the same game.

Monopoly Jackpot launched in July 2018 and features more than $32 million in cash prizes.
