TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Lottery officials says a Florida east coast-based trust account has claimed the $5 million top prize on a scratch-off Florida Lottery ticket.
According to the Florida Lottery, the winning ticket in the $20 Monopoly Jackpot game was sold a One Stop on Mahan Drive in Tallahassee. The store earned a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The jackpot was claimed by Benzene Trust of Indiatlantic, Florida, near Melbourne.
They chose to receive their winnings as a one-time, lump sum payment of $3,562,000.
