LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Fort Myers man is now a multi-millionaire after a lucky purchase at a Sanibel convenience store.

The Florida Lottery says 41-year-old Alejandro Martinez Morales has claimed the first $5 million top prize in the Florida Lottery Luck Scratch-Off game.

He purchased his winning ticket at the 7-Eleven on Periwinkle Way in Sanibel. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

Moralas chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,815,000.

The $20 game launched last month and offers six top prizes of $5 million.
