LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Southwest Florida woman purchased a lucky scratch-off Florida Lottery ticket in Bonita Springs recently, earning her a $2 million jackpot.
According to the Florida Lottery, Nancy Schettino of Bonita Springs won the top prize jackpot playing the $,000,000 Gold Rush Classic game.
She purchased her ticket at the Winn-Dixie on Bonita Beach Road in Bonita Springs. The store will collect a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

Schettino has opted to take to one-time lump-sum payment of $1,405,000.
Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2017-18, and comprising approximately 69% of ticket sales.
