LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Fort Myers man has claimed a $1 million prize on a Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket.
According to the Florida Lottery, 61-year-old Pascal Guillembet of Fort Myers purchased a $30 ticket in the $15,000,000 Gold Rush Special Edition game at the Universal Supermarket on Three Oaks Parkway.
His ticket earned him one of the game's 24 prizes of $1 million. The game also offers six top prizes of $15 million.
The store will earn a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
Guillembet chose to accept the lump-sum payment of $700,000.
