Lehigh Acres man wins $500,000-off lottery ticket

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Congratulations to George Sands, of Lehigh Acres.

Sands claimed a top prize from the $500,000 FLAMINGO MULTIPLIER Scratch-Off game using a secured drop box located at the Fort Myers District Office.

Sands purchased his winning ticket from Qwik Way Market on Joel, located at 233 Joel Boulevard in Lehigh Acres.

The $5 game, $500,000 FLAMINGO MULTIPLIER launched in January 2016 and features more than 7.5 million winning tickets and more than $113 million in total cash prizes! The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-4.23.
