TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- After 22 straight drawings with no jackpot winners, the Mega Millions lottery jackpot is now up to $340 million for Friday night's drawing.
The last winner was on September 24th, when an anonymous Texas player won $225 million.
Other winners this year have included a $522 million winner in San Diego in June, and a $437 million winner in New York in January.
The next drawing will be on Friday night at 11 p.m. But good luck; your chances of winning are 1 in 302,575,350.
Mega Millions tickets cost $2, or $3 if you chose the Megaplier option. Players can pick 5 numbers from 1 through 70, and a Mega Ball number between 1 through 25.
Tickets must be purchased before 10 p.m. the night of the drawing.
