NAPLES, Fla. — The luck isn’t running out in Southwest Florida! Just a week after someone bought a Powerball ticket worth $395 million dollars in Bonita springs, now a Naples woman is 5 million dollars richer.
Fox 4 spoke to the men who sold Paulette Habich the winning ticket on Saturday at Super Stop Food Store in Naples.
They say the woman is a regular. She bought one ticket Saturday evening, left the store then came back for another; that was ticket worth quite the payout, 5 million dollars.
Today she claimed her earnings - over 3million dollars after taxes and fees.
The store also receives a 10 thousand dollar bonus for selling the ticket.
Regulars, who say they often see Habich in passing are still in awe,
Fox 4 is working to track down the lucky lady, in hopes of hearing her story.
