North Port woman claims $1 million prize in scratch-off game

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - A North Port woman claimed a $1 million prize in the $5,000,000 Monopoly Florida Edition Scratch-Off Game. 

Nataliya Brych of North Port claimed her winnings in a lump sum of $770,000, the Florida Lottery announced. 

Brych purchased her winning ticket at a Shell in Venice, making them big winners, too. The gas station will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

The $20 Scratch-Off game launched in July 2016 and has more than $346 million in prizes.
