Port Charlotte man wins $1 million on Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Port Charlotte man is now a lot richer after playing the Florida Lottery.

60-year-old Thomas Wagner has claimed a $1 million prize in the $10 million World Class Cash scratch-off game.

He chose to receive his winnings in 25 annual installments of $40,000.

Wagner bought the ticket at the Publix on Peachland Boulevard, which earned a $2,000 bonus. 

You have a chance to win big Tuesday night, as the Mega Millions jackpot is now up to $212 million.
