TALLAHASSEE -The Florida Lottery announced that George Soulandros, 67, of Sarasota, claimed a $2 million top prize from the new $10 MONOPOLY™ JACKPOT Scratch-Off game. He recieved his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,430,000.00.
The Sarasota man purchased his winning ticket from Publix, located at 2875 University Parkway in Sarasota. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $10 MONOPOLY JACKPOT Scratch-Off game launched on July 2, and offers more than $176 million in prizes, including eight top prizes of $2 million. The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-3.44.
