West Palm Beach man wins $1M playing Florida lottery GOLD RUSH CLASSIC scratch off

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- A West Palm Beach man is $1 million richer after playing a $20 scratch off game, according to the Florida Lottery.

Officials said 42-year-old Huy Van bought the $5,000,000 GOLD RUSH CLASSIC scratch off at Community Mobil in the 3000 block of North Military Trail in West Palm Beach.

Van chose a one-time, lump-sum payment of $710,000.00, the lottery department said.

Community Mobil gets a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket, officials said.
