SAN CARLOS PARK, Fla. — The Lee County Sheriff's Office charged a Fort Myers Police lieutenant for allegations of indecent exposure at Target.

According to the police report, a man, later identified as Dion Freeman, was in the store's bathroom near Gulf Coast Town Center.

It states the manager was washing his hands and said Freeman was exposing himself and masturbating while staring at the manager.

The manager told investigators they left the bathroom and called police.

After the interaction, the report says Freeman left in an SUV.

The report doesn't state how they were able to identify Freeman as the suspect.

Fort Myers Police said in a statement:

The alleged incident took place while off duty and not in any official law enforcement capacity. He remains on unpaid administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal case and internal affairs investigation.
